Never Thought this Could be!

I remember you use to ride,
Usually along side of Me,
But now you are not there,
This is the way it must be,

Traveling along,
A wide open country road,
Your hair flying in the wind,
And the stories that we told,

Never thought this would end,
And that I’d lose a friend,
At times I still feel you,
Wondering why it had to end?

We went on one last ride,
With you in my tour pack,
We are spreading your ash’s,
Knowing you can’t come back,

You rode like the wind,
Never thought this could be,
This our last ride together,
I guess now you are free.

Bro you know you’ll be missed,
You’ll always be in our Hearts,
A day will never go by,
Never thought we’d be apart,

God works in mysterious ways,
Not sure why he has taken you,
Now we’ll spread your ash’s,
In a place where we both Knew,

We’ll meet again my Brother,
This I know for sure,,
He’ll never keep us apart,
Hoping this heart ache will cure,

So bye for now my Brother,
Knowing we’ll meet again,
But still wondering why?
Why I lost a great friend,

Sliding On a Country Road!

Bob’s, road side tale
When he was out riding
On a back country trail
Before he went gliding!

When gazin’ and admirin’
The scenery along side
Quickly starts perspirin’
As he started to slide!

The only thing he’d seen
Stuck out on both sides
Two posts and road between
So Bob quickly decides!

Give what engine provides
Good thrust of acceleration
To get out of those slides
And try to keep formation!

Even if goin’ left or right
Never slammed on brake
Just counter steered tight
Then gave throttle a shake!

To come out of that spin
Which he successfully done
As his heart throbs within
Makin’ a well earned run!

Says Bob, with a big grin
“As that’s what it’s about
Even when havin’ a spin
Never leaves me in doubt”!

Welcome to Eagle Road!

Eagle Road’s where
Bald Eagles fly
Way up in the sky
While Harley’s soar
With a loud roar!

On this Eagle Road
That goes up and down
All the way around
Nasty twisted turns
With Temps that burns!

While their both flyin’
And cruise on by
On ground or in sky
Wherever they roam
Until going home!

So kind of the same
Except Eagle has hair
And bikes all bare
Except design on tank
From artist they thank!

Like my friend Bob’s
Who had a Road King
Screamin’ Eagle wing
Spray painted on there
And nothing compared!

‘Cause he did travel
This road with Eagles
Instead of Seagulls
On his Harley Davidson
Screamin’ Eagle comparison!

Cairo the Canine Commando!

I’m Cairo, team 6, Dog of war
A Navy Seal Commando Canine
Member of the Elite Seal Core
Who was there on the front line
With 4 out of 23 Seals combined
Settin’ the perimeter assigned!

As rest of team raided compound
To go and kill Osama Bin Laden
Right there in front on ground
Waiting for a sign from our men
Then Bin Laden was shot, Amen
‘Cause he’ll never kill again!

Now to tell you a bit about me
I love biting those bad guys
And mastered skills, you see
With intelligence as I’m wise
And fill any role in any disguise
So I’m just not ears and eyes!

As I also do some crowd control
To keep all the locals at bay
Sniffin’ out bombs in any hole
Or booby traps that will betray
So my duties aren’t child’s play
I use my speed and bite everyday!

Then do whatever’s asked on command
I love helicopter rides and jumpin’
Along with plane rides over land
While enjoying swimming and playin’
With others from my team accompanyin’
In between our missions adventurin’!

Makes me very indispensable today
But some Soldiers and Canine friends
Who were here fightin’ the other day
Died, so lets please pray and do send
Respects to lives that came to an end
‘Cause they’re always here to defend!

Two things to Bank On!

I straddle my Hawg,
With the feeling of Pride,
Head to my Bro’s place,
As he meets me on his electraglide,

The weekend is here,
The wind in our face is free,
We head out on the open road,
Wondering what we will see,

We crank on the throttle,
Leaving our worries behind,
Just me and My Bro,
Whos friendship is like no other kind,

Two things I can Bank on,
Is the steel horse I ride,
And a friendship ,
As in my Bro’s I do confide,

We watch each others Back,
And help when in need,
Its just a way of life,
And off each other we feed,

So all bikers should know,
That two things are for sure,
Our bikes and our Friends,
Is What we need for our weekend cure,

Never Asked For Much!

There are wars every day,
Quite common you might say,
But if we were never there
why should we really care,

Maybe for the sense of praise,
As they ran threw a bullets haze,
Never to look back,
Knowing that their minds were intact,

They asked for no special treatment,
As the bro’s Life was spent,
Diving into the mud ,
And crawling threw the blood,

Some never made it back,
Statistics show that fact,
A family does without,
Always being in some doubt,

So when you think of war
Think of the Vets who settled the score,
And bring a smile to your face ,
For the Vets who won the race,

Never did they ask for sorrow,
Even when maybe there is no tomorrow,
Just dug in and fought
As the enemy they sought,

I’m proud to know a soldier,
Who never really got any older,
But while here he died,
He had all his country’s pride,

Jimi Hendrix Rides On!Now it was sometime ago
Jimi Hendrix ascended
But his memory lives on
‘Cause he was a Legend!

An amazin’ Guitar Legend
So gifted playin’ Rock
On or off the Guitar
Which no one would mock!

For he learned to play
At the age of fourteen
Then after seein’ Elvis
First Electric was seen!

Mastered that Electric
More than anyone seen
Before or since now
When just a young teen!

He was also a songwriter
A great singer as well
Who wrote lots of poems
Which made him excel!

Even served in the army
And became a U.S. soldier
Before his great success
And no longer an amateur!

‘Cause Back in mid-1966
He had moved to London
Started playin’ there
And then didn’t abandon!

Had respect by musicians
Like the Beatles and Stones
The Who and Eric Clapton
Great admires always shown!

Especially after, Hey Joe
Which was an instant smash
Followed by, Purple Haze
Wind Cried Mary, to splash!

Dazzled audiences every time
When he played live on stage
He’d play behind his back
With his teeth and fire rage!

Excellent Blues interpreter
Was so greatly passionate
To his Music and all his fans
So lets now be compassionate!

Let Jimi Hendrix soul ride on
By rememberin’ and by playin’
His music, so let his Soul roll
He’s a Legend, worth rememberin’!

Wanting To Be Us!
You seen me ride by today,
On my steel Horse,
Wanting to be like me,
Being a Biker of coarse,

But we are born Bikers,
It doesn;t just come,
It’s just the way we are,
And its the way its done,

You heard about us,
That we are tough,
But its not from Practice,
We were born Rough,

You know were solid,
And that we take no Shit,
Its not in a book,
So sorry you won’t fit,

You know more about Us,
That we are all Brothers,
And some are Sisters,
But were just like each other,

So you also know,
We have ice in our veins,
With our weathered face,
Its just our Biker fame,

So don’t be sad,
You’ll try to pretend,
You don’t have the heart,
Soon that feeling will End,

And if you want to Ride,
Well God made Honda’s,
You can wear a dress,
And we’ll call you Wanda,

But all kidding aside,
You can always hope,
But sorry it won’t Work,
As you could never cope,

So we’ll smile as we pass,
It will make you feel Fine,
But in all Reality,
A Biker?,Were one of a kind,

Mother

Blairs Mom

MOM..so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

MOM, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning…it seems
the sound has been erased.

Mom, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don’t fit.

Oh,Mom if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I’d tell you that out of all the Moms
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening
in your home above;
Would you go and find my MOM
and give her all my love.

May the 4Th & Force be with you!

May the 4Th be with you all
For only safe rides and no fall
And the force when you ride
As you were born to be wild
In that open wind, since young
Which is when it first begun
Whenever a bike came around
Heard loud rumbling sounds!

The sounds of a great Harley
Ridden sometimes, by one burly
Then wishing you weren’t a child
‘Cause you wanted to be wild
Even though you were so small
And only four foot nothing tall
You wanted to ride this land
And know others understand!

Riding a Harley, is a kids lust
So is why you hear, it’s a must
To ride open winds of freedom
‘Cause it never gives boredom
When cruising along on roads
As souls to freedom explodes
Clearing any fog or bad haze
Which gets you out of any daze!

So the 4Th AND Force be with you!
