A real general store / bar from 1828. Just like it was when the cowboys ruled. This is a biker friendly bar with great music Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. There are three main buildings in town and one of them is a church. Worth the scenic ride. They have rooms to rent, clean and priced right. There is also some very scenic riding along the Mississippi River on either the Wisconsin or Iowa side. Makes a very nice weekend trip.

No Name Saloon, Prescott, WI

About this hangout:
The No Name Saloon is right where the St. Croix and Mississippi rivers meet at the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. It is also at the the first 17-mile mark of the auunual spring and fall flood runs. Bikers are more than welcome to belly up to the bar or stop along the river and get the blood flow back. Area people and the cops are good to us. Prescott also has annual car shows in September and isn’t far from the St. Croix Valley Riders Chili Feed location.

General Directions:
If you’re on Hwy 61, 2 miles north of Hastings, MN, or 20 miles south of St. Paul. Just turn east on Hwy 10 and about 3 more miles you’ll be in Prescott.


Spokes, Racine, WI

About this hangout:
Biker-themed bar. Classic motorcycles all around the dining room and bar. Fantastic hand-painted mural over the front door. Great full service restaurant with lots of comfort food. Very cold beer and friendly staff. Reserved motorcycle parking right off the bar with outdoor seating.

General Directions:
I-94 and Wisconsin RT 20. Exit 20 west about 1/8th of a mile on the south side of the street. Easy entry and exit. Gas station at exit. About 10 miles from Racine Harley Davidson.

Free food on Sundays, 1:30 ’til it’s all gone. Poker run stop almost every weekend. Live music most Saturday nights.

A stop off for the annual bike blessing held in Oak Creek, WI and also, a Milwaukee stop for the H-D anniversaries. We’re a biker-friendly bar with great food: tacos, steaks and burgers.

General Directions:
Traveling to or from Milwaukee, WI on I-94 get on Rawson Ave exit in and head east towards Lake Michgan. Go all the way to the end of Rawson Ave. and turn right on Hwy. 32 (10th ave.) by the Bucyrus-Earie plant,travel south for six blks. to Marquette Ave. Turn right and cross under the railroad bridge 1/2 blk. to 12th ave. turn right another 1 blk. to Slicks.

About this hangout:
A lot of (if we can say in a nice way) white trash trying to sing on Wednesdays. Most nights its TWO for the WORKING MAN, if the right kind of mood is in the air. Otherwise it’s one of the bigger dumps I’ve be in. In its own kind of way it’s still a hole, but you never know what might happen!

Its just behind where the pump was. From W. Verona Ave. go south on S. Main St and turn right on W. Railroad. 102 West Railroad Street.

About this hangout:
Great deck, motocycle parking, Bloody Mary and a chaser on Sundays. Meat raffles in the fall on Saturdays. Great people and good bar food menu. Once you’ve been there you’ll want to go back. I met a guy that was on his way to Milwaukee for the 100th. He was from New Zealand and rode his Harley from California but, never got to Milwaukee because he liked the people around Waterford, especially the people at the Bunker.

4 Stools Short Part II, Wisconsin Rapids, WI

About this hangout:
Its about having a good time, shooting pool, throwing darts, drinking etc. On Thursday nights Stools offers Karaoke upstairs and usually throughout the year they have certain themes like a Cinco de Mayo party. You can wet your whistle mostly downstairs or upstairs if its open. And occasionally on weekends they have live and loud music from some pretty good bands.

4 Stools Short Part II is located in downtown Wisconsin Rapids on the strip.
